Yet, in her deepest hopelessness, she was forced to confront a confusing truth: because of the King’s support, the orphanage she cherished was thriving. This contradiction became the first thread pulling her out of absolute darkness.
Harboring immense conflict, Yuki makes a difficult choice: to accept the King as her martial arts trainer. “He probably just wants sex,” she thinks.
