The story is set in a secluded village, one clinging to a horrifying ancient custom. According to local superstition, the virginity of brides-to-be was once a tribute offered to a being known as Hodare-sama. But this wasn’t just a ritual; it was a trap. Using a mysterious “sacred water,” women would be driven into a frenzy of pleasure for hours, leaving them forever changed, unable to return to normal life and thus forever bound to the village. Junka and Aya are discovered by the village men while they witnessing the village’s ceremony. Cornered, the situation becomes dire. Surrounded and with no escape, Junka makes a desperate, selfless choice. To shield Aya from the same fate, she steps forward and begins to undress, offering herself as a sacrifice to protect her friend.
