Coriolus was just another cadet at the knight training academy, grinding through drills and dreaming of earning his spurs. Then a new instructor arrived, and his world tilted on its axis. Artel. His childhood friend, now grown into a woman of striking beauty and formidable strength. Their eyes met across the training yard, and for a moment, everything felt right. She smiled. He smiled. Old memories rushed back like a familiar song.

But the academy has its own politics, and Artel’s arrival did not sit well with everyone. A fellow instructor named Lock took an instant dislike to her, or perhaps something darker. Whatever the cause, his resentment curdled into a plan. And plans like his rarely stay quiet for long.

Locke’s scheme was not a fair duel or a public challenge. It was a trap, carefully laid, and Artel walked right into it. Her mind was taken first, stripped of its freedom before she even understood what was happening. And Coriolus watches helplessly as Locke defiles her, shattering her purity in front of the very eyes that once looked at her with nothing but trust.

But Lock didn’t stop there. It escalated. With Artel’s consciousness locked away, he continued his twisted work, reshaping her trained knight’s body into something else entirely. A tool. A plaything. A shell of the warrior she once was.

The joy of reunion became the prelude to a waking nightmare. A noble knight, undone not by a worthy foe on the battlefield, but by a coward’s trap and a friend’s helpless gaze.
