The heroine, Nia, a sun-kissed, brown-skinned skysailor with energy to burn, and her unlikely partner, Mano, a pale-skinned automaton whose clockwork heart beats with quiet precision. This odd couple, think “tropical hurricane meets gentle snowflake”, decided to chase the legend. Their destination? The Mist-Shrouded Tower, the rumored crash site of the fallen sun.
Spoiler: it did not go smoothly.
Their airship got swallowed by a magical storm, systems fried, engines sputtering. Stranded inside the tower’s eerie embrace, Nia and Mano rolled up their sleeves (metaphorically, in Mano’s case) to make repairs and, you know, find a missing sun while they were at it. No pressure.
But dear readers, this tower is no ordinary ruin. Its halls are a living labyrinth, crawling with grotesque monsters. And just when you think it can’t get worse? Ghosts. Actual, wailing, chill-to-the-bone phantoms. Nia, brave but reckless, gets herself captured by a spectral sorceress named Mary.
Now Mary is… strange. She seems almost airheaded, humming a tune, fiddling with her ghostly puppets. But make no mistake, she does not forgive intruders. And she has Nia in her clutches.
What follows is a clash of wills, wits, and wild action. Nia’s scrappy, sun-born vitality versus Mary’s lazy malevolence. Mano, the logical machine, trying to compute a rescue while fighting off labyrinth’s creatures.
