The story follows a wife named Yukina, who visits her injured husband in the hospital only to feel a wave of exasperation as he shamelessly flirts with every woman in sight. Not again… she sighs, ignoring him and sinking onto a bench in the corridor. That’s when a young man named Yuto offers her a cup of coffee. He’s there to visit a girlfriend, and his kind, attentive nature contrasts sharply with her husband’s behavior. For Yukina, he’s a refreshing distraction, pleasant to watch, a brief escape from her frustrations. She savors the moment, thinking it’s nothing more than a harmless little break.
But fate has other plans. A flyer advertising independence and part-time work catches her eye, and she walks into a newly opened cafe, only to find Yuto standing behind the counter. The job is hers on the spot, and it’s just the two of them: Yuto as the master, her as the new hire. What begins as a simple step toward independence for a devoted housewife soon blossoms into a new connection.
