Our story begins with Takuma Ota, an academy’s student whose secret life is as troubling as it is specific. Hidden behind his ordinary school façade is a compulsive obsession. He has been secretly filming in the school’s bathrooms, and in a twist that reveals the depth of his fixation, he has even taken to ranking the students he observes. He is, by all accounts, a voyeur with a very particular focus, living in a shadow world of his own making.

The last person he ever expected to discover his actions is Shizune Kiyomoto, the school’s beloved idol. Shizune is the picture of grace and pristine, the untouchable “ojou-sama” that everyone admires from afar. When she confronts him, Takuma’s world is poised to shatter. He braces for exposure, for shame, for the end of his normal life.

But the confrontation doesn’t go as planned. Instead of disgust or demands for his expulsion, Shizune looks at him with an intensity he never anticipated and utters a sentence that throws him completely off balance.
